NYGC Blues: Tangie Blue Auto (PPP)
Been in a solo cup for a few days. Def getting bigger. Seems healthy. Just water the first night in a cup and some water with recharge last night.
My humidity was dropping so I had put a evaporative humidifier that I had in the tent. It’s the kind with a filter... I assume i can use tap water with it, right? I also have a misting one without a filter that I chose not to use cus I was worried about there being too much mist and i didn’t want to have to use distilled water. But temps have been in high 70’s and i now have humidity a lil above 60. It was dropping below 40... Still new to all this.
Opened the tent today to another set of nodes up top! I have a Purple Haze going too that just barely started but this Blue girls where much bigger.
So I turned off my vent(only had it on super lowest setting) and now my humidity and temp are around 80... keeping pretty steady there. These are good for this stage, right?
My girl Blue is doing the best of my first ever grow of 5. Guess it was a good choice for this challenge! Seems super healthy and growing every day. That new growth is even fuller and bigger today!!
So this was the scariest thing so far! I wish I just started in the final pot cus this was 😩😩 I got her 5 gallon fabric pot ready when Sohum soil. Her roots where pretty good and I want her to get some food that’s in the soil. Roots organic was in the solo and I don’t think that has much or anything in it?
But the roots where stuck to cup in a couple spots. I squished the cup all around trying to loosed. I pushed from bottom. Was not coming out like I’ve seen on YouTube. Ha I cut the cup on 2 sides to peel it away. Of course a piece of root was stuck to a crevice in the cup. 😩😩😩 I did get her in her home without too much more trauma but I’m still nervous for the next couple days. She is my best out of 5 so I hope she is just happy to have a new home and some food. Wish me luck!
So I just transplanted 48 hours ago. At first, the pic above, she seemed a lil sad right after putting her in her new home. Just lil droopiness... Yesterday, she was all perked up and looking like she loves her new home. Tonight, she is just a tiny bit droopy again. Their 5 gallon fabric pots have Sohum soil in them. I watered and let sit for atleast 12 hours before transplanting so I haven’t given any water since. Still got some weight to her. So not sure what’s up but I’m thinking she will be back happy again tomorrow.
So I cut off my first leaf and did some super light training on her. Whew. Glad that’s over. Super paranoid I’m taking off a leaf I shouldn’t. Or that IL
pull too hard and snap her main stem. I prob could go farther
down but for now I’m good. Do you think I could remove that big leaf at the peak of the bend? Any advice is welcome!
She been a lil droopy since this morning. Not sure why. She hasn’t been watered in a week but her pot still has some weight to it. I gave her a lil water with recharge since I’m growing in Sohum and don’t have anything else to give her? Or am I overthinking and she not that droopy? Overall seems healthy besides that tho. 🤷🏼♂️
Was seeming a Lil droopy but I don’t think it’s as bad as I thought. Better now too... Did some more LST tonight. A little heavier than before which was my first time really ever manipulating the plant. I M more confident now but I hope not too confident. I see others on YouTube handling them pretty rough. I get paranoid when I think u bent it a Lil too far... In reality, it’s prob nowhere near as far as she can go!! Anyways, more pix!
