I'm looking forward to running a few of these pineberries. I got the seeds a few years ago and I've only run 1 test plant. The test plant produced some of the dankest, loudest smoke to come out of my garden, but it didn't automatically flip, I had to put it in the flower tent to get it to go. Let's see what happens wen I run a little bit larger selection.
My plants have been pretty slow to get going for this challenge. This is only the second time running the purple pine berry that I'm using as my challenge plants and it's clear that the genetics are really inconsistent. The last time I ran these they failed to flip as autos. This time I started with 3 seeds, 2 came up, and 1 is less than an inch tall 2 weeks since germination. I'm not going to give up on them though because they produce some of the dankest bud I've grown. So just to add some excitement to my journal I'm also going to follow a Russian landrace variety from the Russian Landrace Bureau.
The 2 little starter pots on top of the Russian landrace are a couple Nigerian landrace sativas I'm trialing. Everything looks damp because I watered right before the pictures.
