Hello my fellow growmies and welcome to my Plant Training Grow Challenge journal!
this time unlike previous journals I will most likely not be writing everything down or documenting quite as detailed. These seeds were a cross of two of my plants from the NYGC, the Sharpei got a herm and gave me these seeds. Out of boredom, I’m going to see how they go, and if I can get away without any herms this go around.
I am growing in a living soil, under green machine CA’s Gm4h in my 4x4 tent. The tent is still out in the garage so I’m not expecting perfection, just thought it wold be extra fun growing some I created myself. These seeds were sited in the freezer to preserve and act as a winterization to produce.
Went into we paper towers two days ago and two have popped so far.
So great news 5 out of 8 popped. One unfortunately got mold and the other two are taking too long, so for sake of my 4x4 tent I’ll be using the first 5. Waited a little too long to check the little seeds again and they were jumping out of their shells! Plopped them into a solo cup of soil, game them about 10 ml of water and off we go!
I collected some rainwater the other night, been using that to water since the 15th. The Hindu Kush/ Sharpei are looking strong, even though one does have some funky first set of true leaves (I think from the shell sticking together a little when it came up)
the Sharpei seedling are definitely sapping nutrients from each other. Can’t wait for my fermented plant juice to be ready so they can start getting that sweet nector 😂
Plants loved the combo of rainwater and castings. Should be ready to top and pot up here in a few days. One of the seedlings look like it’s showing signs of calmag def, going to get a little water soluble calcium on her to clear of the waves right up.
Been watering every 1-1/2 to 2 days. They’re really starting to go now, the Sharpei are about ready to top
Sharpei s1 are just about ready to top, and the Hindu Kush x Sharpei are just a few days behind.
I have my LED about two feet above canopy at the moment, and am going to slowly start getting my plants used to it’s intensity. They got about two hours tonight. Starting to look good and prey up 😃
Slowly need getting more time under the led. Up to about four hours a day now. Last night they got their first feeding of fermented plant juice. 4ml/gal, ladies are ready for take off.
Top dressed the Hindu Kush x Sharpei with some worm castings. Been pretty hot here lately, read 105 last evening which means it was hotter in the mid of day. Still don’t look to bad or stressed.
First picture is the hk x s pheno that I think I’ll like the most. Very compact internode structure with thick leaves.
@mtndan it’s only been two days 😂
ladies are looking fantastic. The got about 7-9 hours of led light today and are responding very well. Soon going to make the swap full time.
soon to top and up pot
Well it’s been getting pretty hot and they didn’t get watered for about 4 days. Whoops😴
out of all of them the Hindu Kush x Sharpei is handling it best.
99% sure the clones are gonna die. That’s okay though the seedlings are looking like they’ll pull through. New growth is looking good. Plan on putting up on Sunday
