Hey everyone super excited for this grow challenge for New Years. I’m a female grower and I’ve been growing for two years mostly in soil. This will be my first run in coco using Kyle’s seeds and flora flex nutrients. The strains I’m growing off his is the NE rock candy and the breeders cake both 9 week strains. I will be flowering them in a 5x5 ultra yield tent with a chilled 660 made by Growmau5. I know nothing about coco so any help in much appreciated. Hope everyone has a great day and happy growing
Good evening just wanted to start by saying hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and a happy new year. I popped my N.E.R.C and breeding cake at midnight using 6.5ph water and a little bit of aloe gel. I will let them sit for 24 hours or until I see them open and move them on to a paper towel.
Good evening everyone glad to say all four seed popped within the first 24 - 48 hours. I transferred them into jiffy pucks 36mm and used RO water at a 6.3 ph. I’m going to be filling the solo cups tonight with Mother Earth coco and a some feeding of flora flex veg 1 and 2 about .5 grams of each and water at about 6.3 ph. They are under a 60w tube light until I finish setting up the 5x5 tent. Happy growing everyone.
Hey everyone sorry for the late post unfortunately I’ve been sick all week and it shows in my garden. Both the breedercake and the NERC got a little leggy on me totally my fault. But they are in their solo cups and in my veg tent. They have had 3 feedings of floraflex nutrients 1 gram per gal of veg 1 and 2 & half a gram of bloom 1 and 2. 3
water was 70 degrees and 6.3ph and a half cup was given to each. Happy growing and good night.
Hey everyone here’s a little garden update ran into an issue my heater in my grow room dead and the temps dropped to the 30s. But I did get another heater and good news none of the strains died due to the cold. They are at least a week or so behind but I’m hoping they will catch up. I did water them while the heat wasn’t working needless to say they didn’t drink anything. So they look over watered and the next few days I will keep a close eye on them. Happy growing everyone
Hello gromies hope all is well updated on my two strains are going well since the new heater. I have also upgraded the light to a nanolux 630w with one bulb 3k and one bulb 4K. So far it has keep my 5x5 at an even 78 degrees and a humidity of 60. I have also transplant all the plants to their final pots 3 galllon square fabric pots. The media is a mixture Mother Earth coco and coco mix from bio buzz. They have been given a recharge feeding and one flora flex feeding 1/2gal each plant. Will be flipping on the 14th and can’t not want for flower.
Cheers
Hello everyone here is a update on my grow of the New England Rock Candy and the Breeders cake. I recently purchased a nanolux CMH 630 light for my 5x5 light and I wanted to test this light out. I placed it in my 5x5 and put these strains as well as some other plants in veg under this light until feb 14. They definitely needed the extra veg time. I feed them twice that week with flora flex v1 @ 1gram per gallon and v2 @ 1.5 grams per gal with a ph of 6.2 the first feeding and 6.4 the second feeding. I flipped on feb 14 into flower and watered them with recharge, root drench and Mr. Fulvic. I feed them two days later with floraflex v1 & v2 @ 1gram per gal and b1 & b2 @ 1.5 per gal and a ph of 6.2. I’m excited for them to get a little bigger and see how the clones react being taken at different points during the flowering process. Have an awesome day Grammies.
Hello gromies update on the garden everything is looking great. Plants are doing better than I thought considering I tried to kill them lol. They are coming back strong both strains have been feed flora flex nutrients b1 and b2 at 2 grams per gallon and a ph of 6.2 ph. I feed them three times a week and gave them some beneficial nematodes triple blend as a IPM. I also water them with recharge and EM-1 once a week. So far I can tell one on my NERC is a slower grower and it eats way more than the others. This run definitely turned around and I am excited to keep working with these strains.
Hello everyone here's a garden update everything is looking amazing. I have been using flora flex b1 at 2.2 grams per gal and b2 2.5 grams per gal for the last week and the week before. The water temp was 70 degrees and the ph was flipped between 6.2 and 6.4 each plant drink about 1.5 gallons. I started flushing at the beginning of this week using tap water no ph needed. The breeders cake is definitely ready to be flushed but the NERC is still bulking up and putting on weight. I am impressed and can’t wait til they finish
Hello everyone hope all is well. Here with a garden update both of my breeders cakes went the full 9 weeks of flowering. I flushed for the last week and a half with tap water. I was able to clone both so I get to run them again. The NERC are still growing and putting on weight. I am not sure when they will finish but it maybe longer then 12 weeks.
