Welcome to my laboratory!
Actually it's my barn ^_^ - a converted horse shed that now grows cannabis! I am a legitimate medical marijuana patient growing on property that I own in a legal state and county out in rural America. There is no need for carbon filters, sound dampeners, or stealth - just common sense, keep everything indoors, and keep the facility locked.
A special thank you to Dr. MJ Coco for establishing this community. I used to grow on hempcultivation.com and was sad to see the community and friends vanish. There are so many toxic forums on the internet but everyone on this site has been more than helpful, respectful, and the resources made available are evidence-based and not a matter of opinion.
Another thank you to NakedGardener for leading the PE faction and suggesting Pineapple Express as the stain of choice. It's a new strain to me and my 3rd auto attempt, and probably the best genetics I've ever purchased. The truth is this adventure began months before the start date with order considerations and watching the damn tracking of the parcel.
DWC/Drip Hybrid - sorry, I will not be growing in coco. I am working a second run in my system that runs the feedings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, is automated via smart plugs + Alexa, a few STC-1000s, and a whole lot of Panda Film.
Nutrients: A full line of General Hydroponics Flora Expert Recirculating + CaliMag + Hygrozyme + Yucca Powder.
Veg Light: 54 Watt COB
Flower Light: 750 HPS in a 5'x5'.
Weight Goal: I haven't quite figured that out with Autos yet... if I can fill my canopy, I'll shoot for 600 grams or apx 21 oz.
Thanks everyone!

And so it begins!
1) The first steps taken today was to roll a 220 grit finishing sandpaper around a pen as prescribed by @dr-coco in the recently published germination guide. Add some tape and we had a tube sander
2) In this sander, my two seeds were dropped and shaken about 4 times.
3) I dropped them into my 8oz mason jar and added water from the well ph 7.
I will wait for the tap root to emerge but allow to remain in the water until at least 1/4" of taproot has developed. They will then be placed directly into PHed rockwool cubes and set into my seedling dome and placed under a 54 watt cob LED and heat mat. Grow on!
here we go it’s been about 48 hours since I drop my seeds they actually popped on January 2 but I was at work and couldn’t get to it until today. Today we are PH in rockwool in 5.5 pH well water that has a natural ppm of about 110. If anybody is interested in the chemical make up for my water I do have a report but it is not necessary at this time. The Rockwell cubes will soak in the pH to water for about Three hours. During this time I will prepare the veg room get it all cleaned up and place the seeds into the Rockwell cubes. We will be using a 53 W LED cob to germinate and veg with a to be determined lux reading.
Seeds are into rockwool cubes! Seedling mat set to 68f using a Hydrofarm temp controller. Needle nose pliers, tap root down, stab into rockwool base.
What's up Team Pineapple and CCFC!
I don't have the best news. It looks like one of my seeds just stopped growing and will not join us. However the second seed is still climbing out of it's cube. I fear I left them in water too long (work obligations) but I've started a new seed just in case and have room for a 3rd plant if fortune comes our way. Since I have more time at this point of the week, I'll turn to the papertowel method as soon as we tap (hopefully within 12 hours).
Don't count us out!
This seed did not sink in the water but cracked all the same. Into a fold of paper towel, an old food container, some water, and left on top of my computer battery.
Dropped seed #3. It didn't look to hot, but I have some high hopes for it. Happy to have 1 plant, will welcome 3 :). We'll talk nutes tomorrow.
Quick update! The original 2 seeds have emerged. We’re a little slow, but hey! They’re happy to be here.
Ive started lowering the Rh from 99% -> 85%.
going to add some mild nutes tonight. Excited for this NYGC. Nute report later.
Here is the official MG nute schedule for the NYGC Pineapple Express!
Values are per gallon
Edit: First nutes given "week 1 Seedling" 400 ppm
Looks like we're going to be a family of 3! Defying all odds, we are 3/3 Pineapple Express by Fast Buds! 🌻 🌻 🌻
