Hi All! Second official run for me, but first time with photos. I am one of those that set out to academically study the art of growing cannabis for several years before actually getting dirty. I was going to run autos again, but I wanted to pop a few of Subcool's seeds in memorial. I have a small "office" setup in my basement which includes:
2x4 Gorilla Grow tent
a MyLumii LED light
5 gal Smartpots
80/20 FoxFarm Ocean Forest & Coco
I will still be hand watering.
Plan is to not add anything other then water, Fish Shit, and maybe some Mammoth P toward the end. Using Dr. Zhymes as needed.
Dropped my seeds in water 4/19 at 11pm (I cheated, get over it). By 11am today, they had all sunk to the bottom and went straight into Solo cups of soil. Now I am crossing my fingers for the next few days.
Shout out to Jordan River, Growcast and Dr. Coco. Long time Growcast listener.
Just checked my lovelies. 1 popped up nice and proud, second is starting to push through soil, third is still MIA.
Looks like only 2 are gonna make it, third just stopped with tap root 1/2 inch long. Still hopeful, but not expecting much.
Moved them up closer to the light, the one wants to stretch like crazy.
Crap, it has been 30 days already. Time and space don't seem to function the same way right now (even when not stoned). All three plants came up and stretched like crazy. I had to prop them up a bit but they have stiffened up and look really nice.
Getting my pots ready to transplant.
Pruned up the bottoms a bit today. Sorry for the purple pics today. Tent is already starting to get deliciously stinky. 😜😎
when is everyone planning to flip?
Guess I should update. Turned out 2 of my 3 plants were dudes. I got rid of one of them early but decided to let the other one do it’s thing with the one lady for seeds (since I don’t know where to get these genetics from again). I did take some cuts of the female, but I have never worked with clones, so it’s a new adventure.
She looks so frosty. Neat seeing the seeds puff up. I have no idea how to tell when the seeds are mature though. I will have to do some research.
