I've ordered White Dream and C99 from Quebec Cannabis Seeds, and the freebies that came with it are Fruity OG Kush.
I'm growing in RDWC, 8 plants but 2 separate 4 plant systems so I don't have to run 3 wildly different plants on one nutrient mix, but the freebies ended up being another sativa so I guess it won't matter much this grow. I'll grow 3 of each of the other two seeds and two of the freebies then. Starting the seeds off in 1.5" rockwool cubes, then moving up to 3" cubes before finally going in their buckets. Using Mega Crop 2 part, armor si, diamond nectar, bud explosion, and I've got a kelp foliar spray, and some recharge for the seedling stage.
Sprouts and seedlings will be started under a Maxsisun MF1000 and replaced with 2 Mars TSW2000's once they're in their buckets.
This will be my first rdwc grow so I'm definitely not expecting it to go perfectly. We shall see!
Seeds are soaking in RO water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide and rockwool is soaking in RO water pH'd to about 5.5, for the next 24 hours
Got some serious stretching going on. Trying to figure out this new light on seedlings. Not looking good for two of them. Lesson learned, when growing this many and especially in a fixed rdwc system, germinate more and pick the best ones. Luckily I haven't put it together yet so if these don't sprout I'll just do 6, two of each strain.
Dipped the rockwool in some recharge water today. Only got a cheap lux meter and I've got the light a little over 80k I think it is, the younger sprouts seem to be liking that and not stretching like the rest
Into the 3" cubes today. Soaked the cubes in just recharge water but I added a little something called Bactrex that I had left over from previous grows. Basically just beneficial bacteria, stuff that fights off pathogens and bad bacteria, and a little humic acid too
Cubes got soaked in a 400 ppm bath today. Si, calmag, and mega crop a & b. Not sure what amounts, just kept scooping a little in at a time until I hit 400. Also added some recharge
Just a quick update, things are NOT going well. Life has been insanely hectic since my last post and my poor plants are suffering. Fed them 2 days ago and they're bouncing back but they should have been in their buckets by now. Everything is slowing back down and I hope to get them in their buckets within the next few days but I don't think I'll be topping or anything this time around as they've been through the ringer enough already
Welp that's all folks. Had to suddenly go out of state for a week and didn't have anyone to look over my plants for me and since they were already in bad shape they didn't pull through. Had to scratch the whole damn thing. I swear I have the worst luck growing weed it's wild lmao. Guess I'll buy more seeds and start all over again but so much for the nygc
