There are many types and styles of growing methods and each type has it's own benefits. Perpetual growing is a style that allows a grower to harvest an endless supply of weed. If you've already grown weed and had a few harvest already it's a big plus. This is not a how to grow article. Every thing you would do in a regular type of grow you would do in a Perpetual grow. The only Difference is that at some point you start a new grow before your currant grow is ready for harvesting. That way you always have plants that are ready for harvest. You always have vegging plants ready to replace the ones you harvest and clones or seedlings to replace the ones that you just flipped. If your timing is right you can harvest an endless supply of weed every few weeks.
First thing you will need for your perpetual grow is some seeds or clones that have a flowering time of 8 weeks. Next you'll need a tent or grow space to veg or grow your new clones or seedlings for 3 - 4 weeks. Then you move the vegging plants to your Flower tent and start some new seeds or clones, better yet you can take cuttings from your veg space just before the move. Then while your veg is growing for 4 weeks, your flower space is flowering for that 4 weeks also. Then you move the vegging plants to your 2nd Flower tent and start some new seeds or clones, better yet you can take cuttings from your veg space just before the move. Presto you have your perpetual grow up and running.
Obviously the best way to go about perpetual growing is with 3 separate grow spaces or tents, 1 for veg growth and 2 for flowering, plus a small space for cloning or seed starting.
It can also be done with 2 spaces or tents, Your flower space is divided and would have 2 sets of flowering plants that are 4 weeks apart.
Want to do a perpetual but only have 1 tent. With 1 grow space you can do a perpetual grow on training wheels. Auto-flowering plants are a great way to do this. Depending on how big of a space you have, next time don't start your whole space. Just start 1 to 3 auto's or 1/3 of your space, then in 4 weeks start 1 to 3 more, then start 1 to 3 more. Till your grow space has 3 different sets of plants 4 weeks apart and so and so on That's it you now have a never ending supply of weed. With auto's today you can harvest almost a pound or more of bud per plant, that's 1 to 3 lb's every 4 weeks. With that much bud you should have no problem finding friends to help you trim.
At the other end there is the perpetual grow on steroids. Just like with the 3 space grow you start a new grow and harvest every 4 weeks, with 4 grow spaces you start and harvest every 3 weeks. However I would only recommend this it you are supplying someone like Snoop Dog. You would veg for 3 weeks and flower for 9, with 3 flower spaces or tents a harvest would be every 3 weeks. With that much weed you could get some super models over and trim for you.
