***Seed Junky is the original breeder of Wedding Cake

I have had great success using the AN PH Perfect line with photoperiod plants, so I thought I'd give it a go here with an auto-flower.

Week 3 Update
I think I started counting about 5 days late because these plants started flowering around Day 19, which was probably more like Day 25. And it seems autos can start flowering from 3 - 5 weeks out. I've only grown autos one other time a couple years ago. Here they are at Day 23 (it's probably more like Day 28). I definitely have 2 different phenotypes going here: a wide leaf and a narrow leaf and internodal spacing is much different. We'll see if it's the same strain or if another strain's seed got mixed up in my pack. I did some light defoliation and leaf tucking a few days ago. I am NOT going to count flower days. Because this is an auto, I'm going to count total grow days. For this strain, the total days from sprout are 75-85.
Grow Tip: I include these basic tips of stuff I would want to know when I first started growing. When I need to increase the height of a plant to make an even canopy with taller plants, sometimes I will stack plant elevators and zip tie them together. I get the height while still allowing great drainage. In this pic, the plant on the left has 2 elevators under it so that both plants get equal light intensity. I will often also super-crop the taller plants to maintain an even canopy as an alternative.
Day 23:
Week 4 Update:
Both doing good. A little nutrient burn on both, so I've backed off the A & B Bloom by 25%. I also dialed back the light intensity and distance from canopy. Autos often take less nutes than photos. I clearly have two different phenotypes, and maybe even two different strains. Time will tell.
Grow Tip: Besides leaf tip yellowing and browning, tips pointing down can also be a sign of over-feeding. Too much light intensity can also have similar symptoms to over-feeding. If the symptoms are only at the canopy and not at the lower leaves, then light is most likely the issue, not nutrients.
