First try - testing the waters
Trying things out to see if growing at home is viable for me vs. buying on the street.
So far I've learned that my lighting is insufficient and I can see value in a limited grow space like a tent where temp and RH can be more easily influenced.
Will fill in more details later.
So I need to get used to journalling regularly.
Been seeing white growths at several nodes for 3 week now pistels I think. Wondering how long till I see real flowers under this cheap 45 watt light. Can't wait till I can afford a real light.
My flip to flower date is an estimate since I've not been keeping good notes yet.
Still trying to figure out when to start counting flower days.....
Well it has taken much longer than I expected and the buds are nothing to boast about (due, I'm sure to quite an anemic light), but she a good and relatively healthy looking plant. I learned a lot in this grow and I'm ready to go bigger in the NYGC. I should have a Mars Hydro TS 1000 or two by the end of February if everything goes right.
Just keeping a watch out for harvest time, small as it may be.
Near ready to harvest and something went very wrong. I just cant figure out what it was. One cola died on the plant the other seems ok.
Can anyone shed light on what this may look like?
Also, I'm not seeing any amber tricombs and I'm wondering if I'm ever going to..... Should I just chop and fry?
Any help would be appreciated......
Its been a while but this looks like the last post for this plant. Finally.
Just cut her down last weekend and hung to dry. Tested the tiniest buds at the bottom of the stems. Quick tried on low in the oven and it was some pretty good smoke all things considered. Had a strong affect with just two hits. So I'm pleasantly surprised given all I learned from my mistakes and setbacks like botritis.
Wont have as much as I hoped but more than I thought I'd end up with. So all in all I'm happy and optimistic about what I have going in the new years grow.
Here's some pics. Happy growing.....
