Blueberry Auto / second grow
I'm using General Hydroponics Flora series and following CFC fertigation schedule. I have a gallon of full strength seedling blend. I have been diluting it to gradually build up to full strength. I pay close attention to my ph levels at every feeding as well. This is my fertigation info for the past three days after the seedling was transplanted into her seedling pot.
Day 1. Fert once ec 429 ph 6.2
Day 2. Fert twice ec 474 ph 6.3 then ec 525 ph 6.2
Day 3. Fert twice ec 600 ph 6.2 then ec 653 ph 6.3
She seems to like it! I am seeing a bit of early leaf curl. I may start calcium foliar spray. I'll give her a day to decide.
I will reach full strength nute solution at my second fertigation today. This morning she received a fertigation of ec 953 at a ph of 6.3. She seems to be loving it! I will be removing the humidity dome and possibly potting up this weekend. She has roots showing through the sides of the fabric seedling pot but they seem to be at a shallow level.
I transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pot 2 days ago. I'm using the CFC nutrient schedule for early veg. Ec 1125 and ph 6.1. She seems to have handled the transplant just fine. Last night I topped and will continue with LST through the rest of the grow. It was my first time topping and it felt a little strange chopping her. But, she seemed happy this morning!
I think she has recovered fully from the topping. I was thinking about topping one more time once I see a third node on the new tops. It just makes me a little nervous with her being an auto. Any advice would be appreciated. Last night my run off ec was high at 1589 ec. She recieved a good fertigation at 1165 ec at a ph 6.2. I will check run off again in the morning. I also turned the mars ts1000 up to 100% which really started heating the tent up a bit. I made fan speed adjustments to my AC Infinite. It will now modulate to control the heat better. I love my little grow set up but I do wish I had more head room as the tent is only 4ft tall. Some day maybe I'll be able to bring the operation out of the closet.
Disaster strikes 🤯! I was starting LST and I broke one of the stalks by trying to bend to aggressively. My heart sunk! It did not break completely and I managed to mend it with electrical tape (the only thing I had). I hope she can recover, as she is an autoflower and won't wait! This happened a few days ago.
As of this morning there seems to be a glimmer of hope for the broken stalk and heart 😄! You can see the brown spot at the tip of the leaf. I'm hoping it doesn't get worse.
I am terrible at keeping a journal 😕! I'm definitely in to early flower. She's showing bud sites all over which is nice 👌! Fertigating with cfc early bloom recipe. I do think that she is a little shy to super bright light. If I run the ts 1000 at 50% she prays. If I take it up to 75% she kind of drops. I'm not certain if autos are more light sensitive or not. Maybe it's just this strain or even just this plant. IDK. All in all it's going well!
