Hi everyone, first time using the forums n participating in a coco grow challenge. Bare with me ill figure out the paperwork to go w the garden work. I already keep a paper n pen log so it should be a quick transition. Very excited to start, this is the longest I've gone without plants in a while!
Day 0/1
Just b4 midnight I took 120 grit sand paper rolled it around a used up disposable pen grit side in and taped it. I put 6 seeds inside and shook it back and forth 10 times and then dropped them into a shotglass full of distilled water.
Poured a glass of 18 year old scotch, picked out a goodbye 2020 diamond and watched the ball fall; about as far as I made it.
This morning about 6 hours later I put them all in a wet paper towel in a zip lock on a germ. Mat with a black gladware container over it. 😁
This morn we have 6 for 6 seeds open with 5 showing a tail number 6 was just peaking.
I've decided to transplant into mini solo shot glasses with un amended promix hp. I poked a bunch of holes filled w dry loose promix, numbered 1-6 and placed them in a Tupperware bowl like 3/4 of an inch deeper than the cups. Mixed up a weak mix of fish shit and distilled water. An poured like an inch into the bowl and placed it on the heating mat for 20 min or so. Poked hal inch holes with a chopstick and, plopped in a dab tool worth of azos into each hole. I put the seeds in the holes in order of most vigor to least 1 being the ripper and 6 being the one just peaking. Just curious...
As of this morn b4 work i have 5 out of 6 seedlings up # 5 is the straggler. # 1 had a lil helmet head action but I helped her out (thinking positive).

Also on Sunday I got 2 cuts from the irl growmie. Key lime pie x pebbles punch. Maybe a dessert category if I need to fill space after sex testing. First time using foop seems to be going well they look happy and are praying hard 🙏
Last night moved from the 3 oz shot cups to 16 oz solo cups. Powdered each hole with azos watered in and moved out of the dome into the tent running 2 out of 4 led boards so I don't cook them. Aprox 80-85f 45-55rh tap water violently bubbled and ph adjusted to 6.4.
Excavated the straggler and it had given up as soon as transplanted no further taproot development. 😔 wishfull thinking he was a weak male anyway.
Pretty basic seedling upkeep. Got 2 nice lookin ones 3 a lil funky but coming through it.
Rerouted my intake more directly. Running 72f 65rh. With 30f outside my exhaust is cycling itself on and off. Be nice to have these kinda temps the whole way though.
Looks like we got a lil mutant on our hands. Very curious to see what happens with it.
Plain tap water today declorinated and ph adjusted to 6.66 running 76f 57rh today with outside temps in the 50s.

So I'm at a wierd spot with these plants.... popped 6 seeds 1 gave up in the soil. 2 came out normal and are thriving and 3 are mutants. I've never had this many bum seeds in 1 pack. I've seen pictures of these things really done well and they are beautiful. But im really not feelin it... especially when I got alot of gear I know for a fact is a winner every time. But in the interest of not being rash I guess ill sex test the 2 normals pull the one xmen that I like its leaves and put it in a bonsai pot and play. My dilemma is how many more do I pop? Do I do it now? Wait till I get results from delta leaf? The goal was scrog with 2 nets and fill a 3x3 with 3 husky plants. I kinda think this mutant situation is gonna knock me outa the timeline for the grow chalange if I gotta reset. Or ill have 1 or 2 plants like a month ahead of the others. I dono what to do.
Its been a busy week, I decided to test 3 of the ones I got that are fairly normal. My tracking says delta leaf recieved my samples yesterday so I'm hoping today or tomorrow for the results.
Day 22ish started noticing one of them growing crooked and rotating it didn't fix the crooked growth after 2 days. So I popped it out of the cup to peep the roots and they were ready for bigger homes. I went from solo cups to i think .75 gal Square black plastic cheep ass pots with a coffee filter and an inch of bonsai mix in the bottom then my soil mix dusted the holes w azos and mycos.
So 10 days ago I sent samples to delta leaf for testing they were recieved 6 days ago and today I got frustrated and gave up waiting on technology. Pulled up the skirts and I've got 1 female 😔. Should I email them the results since they were a complete waste of money.. 😂 I would have preferred none so I could just reset with something new. This pack has been kinda disappointing, Lousy with genetic mutations.
But the 1 female has been the bell of the ball. So I guess its time to get drastic with her and see if I can fill out a 3x3 with 1 bad bitch. Best come back contender in the making right here 💪
So after yesterday's Gender reveal party. I got my 5 gal pot ready for the transplant with an empty pot as a place holder. And the rest of the surface planted with dutch white clover as a cover. Im hoping for it to be sprouted and thriving by the time my lonely lady is ready for her new home. Also chopped her top and left 6 strong nodes that I'm gonna try to top n split out into a 3x3 canopy of tops. Installed a blumat "carrot" kinda stoked to try out their system its honestly beautifully low tech but so far the function is smooth and flawless.
Peep @0nlyfanleaves on ig for the top recovery time lapse as long as my go pro is not being a jerk.
Lonely lady is doing great, recovering nicely from the top, and really spreading out. The blumat 🥕 is working amazingly. I havent watered in 4 days and my pot has stayed the perfect moisture level the entire time.
Highly recommend checking them out, fully expandable from 1 plant to ?. Very inexpensive also.

Yesterday I moved up into the 5 gal pot and added 5 drip emitters to my blumat carrot spaced out like the dots on the 5 side of a die. Also took off the bottom 2 branches and put them aside in a shotglass of water to use as cuttings. This morning started brewing a tea of various organics🐟🪱🪲🦤🐚🦄 and microbes lil azos lil myco some fish shit. Good eyeballed Lil of this lil of that kinda recipe heavier on the N but didn't leave out the P&K. Threw it in a jug w a bubble stone and a big loud ass air pump and let it rip sitting on a seedling mat. Whole room smells like a pond and sorta sweet pretty quick. Gonna shut off the main water valve about 12 hours b4 I feed and turn it back on right after I water with the tea so I don't forget. It won't flow any water until it dries out to the set moisture level 👌 sorry nothing is specific i garden like I cook, but I can't argue to these roots.
Just a lil shaping action today, 2mm solid aluminum wire. Lil trick from the bonsai people. lookin very happy after the up pot and the tea. Praying hard.
