SpartanGrown was on Letz Be Budz talking about how a bit too much vortex made him barf once so I jokingly commented “SpartanPuke” and got treated to some seeds, so I gotta grow them out.
scuffed with sandpaper and dropped in filtered tap water w mykos.
Planted seeds in solo cups I’ve used before, all slashed up for soil ventilation - covered for some humidity. Added a layer of worm castings to the happy frog
4/4 beans sprouted. I labeled them “p” “u” “k” “e” in the order they popped.
I’ll keep them covered with wrap for another day or so to help with humidity.

They all popped with tiny serrated leaves - lookin good so far. Gonna did some worm castings/fox farm to top the cups off later today.
P and U the first two to pop are also the tallest - never popped 4 seeds at once before so I’m curious to see if those early poppers/growers will be males.
Surviving the cold and dry pretty well. I moved the other plant I had in this tent to flower so should be able to warm them up a bit with the lower light.
Startin to get into veg - turned the light up a bit. I’ll probably wait to pot up till they have at least one more set of leaves
kinda cool that the second set of true leaves already had 3 petials or whatever
Pretty sure people hate lettin their indoor plants get some sun, but dammit it’s nice out and I think it helps.
Any bets on sex so far? I’m hoping P is the only male.
Middle leaves are gettin fat! That one is taller and a little thin - maybe male or more vortex leaning??
Had some real saggy leaves and some discoloration, definitely scared me. I think the discoloration was from some complex humate I accidentally got on the leaves when I watered in, sagging from needing water. I bottom watered and they bounced back.

Potted up to 1 gallons - ocean forest with some worm castings on top. Roots looked pretty good I think these are the tightest root balls I’ve had yet, without being too root bound.
Ladies will be in the 1gals through flower - but
I’ll rip the tape off, take the bottoms off the pots, and set them on sip(citypicker) in the flower tent for some bottomless pot stuff
Topped above the third node, and attempting to clone the tops. Had some jiffy pellets and little cups handy so rollin with it. Dipped in an aloe cuttings goo, and soaked the peat pellets in microbes and complex humate stuff.
Veg tent was startin to get a little cramped (already… I think my tangie x runtzxgelato still has at least 2 weeks… probably 4) so it seemed like a good time to take clones and trim everything that isn’t part of my mainline.
I put the small clones in peat pellets, larger clones in ocean forest topped with worm castings. 4 in the veg tent, 4 in the flower tent (hopefully to sex) and moving 8 back and forth from from the sunlight to a light that will keep the in veg lol.
Clones got dipped in an aloe cutting and watered with some microbes+ and q20.

I’ve got Spartan puke cuttings all over the house. Hoping some root and some show pre flowers soon!
I’ll probably try to take some more tomorrow when I too again just to account for a lot that won’t make it.
I think the leaves up top are thinner due to higher temps and humidity in the tent but definitely not positive.
