UPDATE 4/25: So this girl popped her head on the 23rd with the cotyledons closed so I thought ok, I’ll give her another day to open up. So when I came in the next morning, still nothing, the same, so I thought hope she isn’t a dud and just stops growth. When I came back in the afternoon I noticed the small first leaves sticking out of the side and what like like some husk or something holding the cotyledons closed. I sprayed with my spray bottle, and the cotyledons shot open exposing the tiny little leaves. Here she is, the next morning calling it day 2 since popping her head. Have a great day growmies. She is now in the seed starting station 3x3 under a ac infinity s22 LED w Samsung LM301 B diodes at 40%. Cheers.

UPDATE 5/1: Well just kinda waiting for the plant to get a lil bigger to do anything with. Lol. Here she is 7 days 1 week in from popping her head.

UPDATE 5/5: What up Growmies and happy Friday. Here we are at day 12 for me since this lady popped her head. Starting to pick up growth. Kicked up the lights a notch to 60% this morning and when I came home this PM,  this girl loved it. I think I should have kicked it up a lil earlier but oh well. Also hung the 250 watt LED w/ Samsung LM 301H diodes that I’m gonna use for this grow. 1 of my lights from my 4x4, just upgraded that set up there. So yeah, next up in the next few days prob transplant to a 1 gallon fabric pot for a couple a weeks. Well that’s the plan. We’ll see…hope everyone else’s grows are going well and moving along. Will need to add humidifier here shortly, we’ll It needs it now but mines being used in the other tent. So I try and spray my tray a few time’s a day for added RH. UPDATE 5/12: What up growmies. Here we are at day 19 from popping this lady’s head. Transplanted to 1 gallon very carefully @ day 16, I didn’t want to induce her to go into flower, and 3 days later she is looking good…also moved her into my other tent temporarily due to the better environmental conditions. Typical conditions there are 73-77 degrees with average 60-65% RH. I will move her back once I flip the cycle on this other tent. Have a great day growmies and keep on growin on. She has only been watered no feedings PH 6-6.5…using up ocean forest nutrients in the soil so 2 weeks solo cup and now we are in the fresh soil 1 gallon using up those nutes before feedings. UPDATE 5/14: What up growmies and happy Mother’s Day to the all the mother’s out there. Here we are at day 21 3 full weeks from this lady popping her head above soil. So today I officially flipped the cycle on my other tent ( photo periods) so this girl went back to her home in the 3x3 along w/ humidifier for added RH. Removed my seed starting station, and now she is officially under the BUDGET LED (aka elevated lighting group (out of business) 250 watt 3500k Samsung LM301 H QB. Light distance is 22 inches from canopy set to about 50% w/ a Par reading of about 300…been keeping an eye just to make sure  of no signs of stress and this lady was chugging along all day perky and happy. Average temps 68-78 ‘F  55-65% RH through out the day. Hope everyone’s grows are going well and for now I’ll keep browsing. Happy growin y’all!

UPDATE 5/17: showing that she is a she. See her pistil peeking there?👏👏👏👏👏👏bonus: here’s a look at my photo periods day 4 flower…middle is yellowing out and not sure why??? Any thoughts??? Light levels don’t seem to be to much, I’m at 10 ml of grow, and I was only on the first notch of my KS 5000…would low light levels cause yellowing out??. but all other plants are nice and green.

UPDATE 5/23: day 30 from this girl popping her head above the soil and we are heading into flower by the looks of things. I topped this girl which I should have done a lil earlier but oh well. So just gonna transplant her into her final home next 2-3 days. Really been just cruising along on this auto grow been going by so fast and I’ve just been super busy with life that getting things done when I would like to has been a challenge. 

UPDATE 5/26: day 33 so I’m not sure when to officially call it flower but last time I grew an auto, when I saw an abundance of pistils I switched to a flower feed regimen and dropped the humidity to around 50-55% RH so that’s what I’m gonna do here. Transplanted this Bubba Kush into a 5 gallon geo pot for her final home…calling this day 1 of flower…happy Friday and growin everyone.. Light distance is at about 20 inches from the canopy and bumped up the PAR to around 500, dimmer is set to about 60%  

BACK LOG UPDATE: 6/2 What up growmies, sorry for the late posts, life has just been crazy busy. Day 8 flower, Anyway there wasn’t to much going on…I thought I might have stunted this girls growth due to the HST but I think she is snapping out of it on the next update here in a min. Defoliate all the original huge dark green blocking fan leaves. Growth was just super slow and I was seeing more recently here last couple days single bladed leafs kinda coming outta the bud areas, so we shall see…last time I grew this strain none of that was apparent but I was more on top of everything then. This girl might have already started flower when I topped her so we shall see what happens. I’ll continue on as planned…for me personally, that why I’m a photo period grower, way more control in my opinion but it’s cool to learn and try new things.

UPDATE 6/10: Yo, so here we are around day 16 of flower and things are starting to pick up…stacking is starting to occur and the buds are becoming more apparent. Added HP2 by roots organics to my feed regimen. Bloom boost. So my nutrient mix is now a mix of blue planet nutrients farmers pride organic blend grow, micro, bloom w/ the HP2 and Mammoth P microbes. Ph between 6.0-6.5. I cut out the silica last week I believe. Not to sure tho. LOL. Anyway hopefully this girl will produce some fat sticky buds even with whatever possible mistakes I have made. Late Update 6/22: Day 28 flower. Sorry guys for the late update. Anyway. This Bubba Kush is chugging along. She is fattening up now. I honestly didn’t do much training to her at all besides topping and defoliation. Been super busy but she is fattening up. The pictures I’m posting in this post are from Monday, a few days ago and the buds are fatter than these shots. Just making sure to stay on consistent feed feed water regimen.

UPDATE 6/25: So here we are @ day 62 from seed/day 31 flower week 5…This girl is a big ole foxtail mess. 😂😂😂 Not my favorite bud structure here, but I think there are a few culprits that I just didn’t keep up with. First off light is 100% 250 watt from the wall and I let the distance creep up on me. Probably around 13-14 inches from the canopy and the PAR was at just over 1100. No Co2, just a slightly open window for fresh air coming in. So the light was too close pushing out some big par w no co2 prob causing the foxtailing. Raised light to around 18 inches and the par range is high 700’s-830ish. So this project will probably go to extract.  A Friend just had surgery for cancer so I’m thinking of contributing this plant to medicine for her. RSO Hemp oil. Love the stuff. So I’ll just keep on watering and feeding and see where this BUBBA KUSH Auto goes. UPDATE 6/29: Good morning growmies. Here we are at day 35 the flower, 5 full weeks. This is definitely a different phenotype from what I had last time I grew this Bubba Kush. Last time she had medium size colas maybe golf ball size.This time it’s bud all the way through the whole branch  up and down huge Cola and is getting fat. They are still foxtailing all over the place, Not my fave but oh well. So we’ll just keep it cruising along. Have a great day Growmies!
