Little lst. Going to have to get in there and see if I can spread them out a little. Trying to break apical dominance on glueberry but she ain't having it. She's the only one that didn't get topped.
Think different got fimd and leaf tucking isn't doing it justice, going to have to tie some stuff down so lower growth can catch up.
Night Queen is rocking a beautiful structure and should fair well when I start tying stuff down. Excellent branching though node spacing is a little longer then anticipated.
Sucks I screwed up my soil girls. They're coming around but I'm sure they'll be stunted I'll get pics once I update the Colorado cookies. Growers Love!!
Soil girls are starting to come around but don't know what will come of them. I've seen a few flying critters, shore flies are pretty common here as are fungus gnats. Going to have to get some control going on before I have an infestation. Again thinking of just moving them outside, weather hasn't permitted me to do so. Still the Colorado cookies will be soil grown so I'll have to get keep on my ipm. Here's some pics of the runts. Glueberry

Death to the pests!!
Removed soil girls, no more flying pests. Though I found algae growing in my drain bucket. H202 and flushed it out. Should have put the lid on it. I've been lax with these plants. Did some lst and accidently broke the top of the Glueberry.
This has given the lower growth a chance to catch up. One side of the top looks as though it's dying, maybe I should have just removed it. We'll see how she comes around. They're all growing pretty strong and just trying to keep up on lst.
Looking at others Think Different I'm guessing I mixed up my seeds, but I did them all one by one so don't know how. Night Queen and TD may have been mixed up from looking at structures in everyone else's journals. The one I think is NQ is more sativa looking and the one I believed to be TD is the shortest plant with squatty features and tight node spacing.
Glueberry injured but pushing out new pistils and keeping pace.
Roots!! Wow!!
Group pic
Still no pistils on the one I believe is NQ but maybe TD. I'm leaning more towards it being TD since the sativa like structure and lack of pistils that are present. No budlets yet but I've switched from transition to bloom nutes. Not sure TD/NQ likes it since she doesn't have pistils. Ec inflow 1.1 outflow 1.4, I suspect it to come down a little with my next hand watering. Fertigation remains at 4x daily and environment is sub par but not too hot or dry atm.
I really want to use my tent for a different grow and I'm hoping to start a few photos when the Colorado Cookies are about 2 weeks from chop.
I really shouldn't have been growing autos this time of year but the interest in strains and breeder forced my decision. I really want to grow the strains but timing wasn't great. Oh well time to figure out where to put another grow lol. Happy growing all!!
Some pretty good growth for 8 days in the roots organics. I had the light too close at one point and the youngest grew right into it. She got a little bit of a burn on the tip of one of the leaves
The eldest had some leaf twisting issue but seems to be working itself out.
About to transplant into 7 gallon fabric pots slightly amended with roots organics uprising foundation and bloom along with some oregonismxl, granular humic acid, azomite, green sand, insect frass, and kelp meal. Added some bti bits and ewc. Going to drench with Trinity tonight and will probably give it a couple days to dry as the plants aren't quite where I want. I'll update the Coco girls after moving them around a bit to make room for these pots. 🌱💚
Things aren't looking so good to me. I've just been too busy to deal with training. I haven't checked ec outflow in awhile and I'm not sure we're doing here lol. I've just been filling the res and raising the light. And come to find out my halos are clogged. Water distribution has been very poor the past few weeks as I'm not sure when this problem arose. Probably why they look thirsty 🤦.
Stalks are pretty thick and not sure if I can get them off to clean them but I'm going to try. I'll make a point to check how the halos are operating for atleast one fertigation event per day to make certain it doesn't happen again. Guess I should start an increased fertigation event. Maybe hand water a good amount of lower ec solution and see if things start looking up. I'm suspecting ec is considerably high in the root zone in certain areas where the halos weren't being effective.
Now that I have time to care for them I'll get them back on track. We're just now starting to flower on 2 plants and the suspicious NQ/TD is just now popping pistils. Poor girls have been neglected.
Here's the autos I threw outside. They are starting to flower and aren't receiving much light. Overcast, cold temps, and location are hindering growth but just going to let them do their thing lol. Maybe I'll get a couple grams from them 😉✌️
Colorado cookies #1 topped and doing great.
Colorado cookies #2 fimd and lower growth removed also doing great.
Tent is starting to get busy but still having problems with halos and hand watering at this point.
It's been harder to deal with my watering system and I got lazy with these plants. Training should have been applied and I'm stuck with some leafy masses. Maybe I should get in there and trim some stuff off for bigger colas but I'm just going to let them be. Just bending them tops over to expose lower growth. I don't think stretch it's quite over so we'll just see what happens.
I really lost my motivation when the side by side didn't turn out. I should have cared more about these girls but the battle in my shop has been my main priority. I'm sure I'm running a ridiculously high ec outflow now since water distribution has been poor. I haven't been able to check it since I haven't been able to hand water or climb in the tent. I injured my back again and can't deal with it right now. They're just going to have to deal with it till I get better. Growers Love!!
Wish I started these girls off right. They seem to be healthy now. I've had a few pests lingering around night queen and she doesn't like the cold damp weather at all. But if I started them out in something softer they probably would have had a good run.
I probably would have had to deal with pests though so they stay outside.
My buddy is going to come over and help me with my halo problem. The best way to deal with it and my injury is to remove the plants and fix the halos. So he's coming to unhook it all and pull them out so I can clean them. While they're out I'll give them some babying because they really need some attention. I'll update soon with more details. Happy growing!!
Where to begin!? I'm usually updating more often but I've been kind of tied up lately and like to give you all something good to read instead of just blah blah pics.
So I'll start of by saying that these are the biggest autos I've grown. I don't have many auto grows under my belt. Things kinda went South on me this round but we're managing and back on track.
Don't know if you can tell but we rearranged the plants letting the sativa take the front center stage. I thought it was night queen but obviously I fd up somehow when transplanting, definitely believe that Think Different is the long lanky gal.
I had a friend come over and remove the girls from the tent so I could deal with the halo problem. It seems that my res maybe getting too warm at times but I've had slime on my air stone the last few res changes. It didn't start until I started using the raw yucca but I think oxygen may be too blame as well. I've read not enough oxygen can cause algae and slime. That's what was clogging my halos.
I cleaned them up and flushed some water through the lines and got some gunk out. Smelled like a dirty fish tank. I haven't ran many organics so this is odd to me. Hopefully the situation is resolved.
Checked ec outflow and 2 plants were sitting at 1.6 and the sativa looking one sits at 1.3 with a 1.1 inflow. So I decided to meet them in the middle with 1.2 almost 1.3 inflow and increased fertigation events. GH and my grow shop have made a killing off me this year lol. I also supercropped all the tall stuff but was out of things to tie them down so it all just bounced back.
Colorado cookies day 14-16 growing nicely but I'm concerned. They both have pistils already!?
Guess it's good that I got my topping done early enough, but they won't be topped again. I'm in awe that they have pistils and keep asking how lol. Guess they're going to be some fast ones.
I believe no matter what I grew them in this would have happened regardless. Pistil shot is cc#2. I'll try to get more pictures and better shots my next update. Just wanted to give you all a run down while I have time.
Trying to keep up with everyone's progress, I really enjoy reading and comparing notes. Happy growing!!!
I've had to raise my light yet again, just wondering when they're going to stop stretching lol. I didn't realize these autos would get so big and really wasn't prepared for this much growth.
The one I believe to be Think Different is done stretching I believe.
I don't know what's going on but my text keeps disappearing and it's getting harder to make posts. Here's Glueberry still stretching
Night Queen is a wild gal with branches everywhere and very unruly. If I didn't have the Colorado cookies in there I would have more room to train.
Colorado cookies are flowering after 2 weeks and well into the first week of flowering. They're still trying to gain some ground and don't have buds forming but a plethora of pistils. Wonder why mine started flowering so fast.
These stunted autos are doing their thing lol. Not sure how much light they're actually getting but they seem to be doing really well. I've knocked a couple pests off them here and there but they seem tolerant towards the pests common in outdoor grows. I'm sure they will be nice pieces of art here soon.
Wow, I've been lax with my updates. Sorry all I've been super busy and have had some life issues pop up.
Anyways, I'll try to catch up. The tent is super full and I didn't expect this. These autos are definitely the biggest I've grown and I'll have to figure out how to hold all the budsites up.
The Colorado Cookies that are supposed to be 10-12 weeks look like they're going to be done before the rest. I'm not sure what happened here but one is really bulking up and the other hasn't decided to head up yet. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, I'm lost lol. I didn't expect Night Queen was going to try an eat them, they barely have any room at all. Guess I can just take them out, there isn't going to be any significant production regardless. I'm not sure they will like being deprived of the light they're getting now but I have to do something. Wwyd?
If you caught the @cheaphomegrow show on Sunday I did a little walk through of my tent, not much of a walk, more show and tell. Anyways, Night Queen has been unruly and stretching absurdly. Her tops don't look very happy and I think they're just exhausted, I may switch light to 18/6 for this reason alone. But @dr-coco said something on the show that gave me an incentive to switch light schedules as well, check out the show.
The other 2 are done stretching for sure and working on flower structure.
I haven't checked my outflow ec in the last 3 weeks but they really haven't given me reason to. I'm about to switch to midbloom nutes and I'll try to get a reading soon. They don't seem to be struggling and Night Queen had the lowest ec last I checked. She actually looks like she could use a higher solution, she seems kind of hungry to me. But with all the branching and bud sites she has, it wouldn't surprise me if the outflow ec is lower then inflow. Next time we hand water I'll find out.
I'm super stoked with these strains thus far, they've been exciting to grow for sure. This is what makes me want to grow though, not just about medicine to me anymore lol. I love watching the vigor and filling in my space. I should be running my 1000 watt light but I figured that if I can get over 600g last grow with the 600w I should be able to do it again. It's not easy to match gpw with a 1000w hid. And I'm not sure it's worth it to run in my set up.
Even though this is a 5x5 and I probably should be running more light, I think my tent and lightning speak for themselves. I wouldn't expect much more yield from running the 1000, maybe 100g, and that's a big maybe.
My set up is far from professional and there are things I need to adjust before trying to do a perpetual grow. I'm really thinking of doing some more autos soon just to have another run done before another photoperiod grow (Bob). Sorry I'm just rambling on now, I'll get more into this subject when the time comes. Happy Growing everyone!!
