Ethos Lilac diesel x fruity pebbles OG
I'm doing a bit of a mini pheno hunt on some ethos genetics in the hope of finding a mother. I've decided to start with lilac diesel x Fruity pebbles OG. 5x reg seeds dropped Wednesday 3/6/2020 at 6:00pm. Soaked for 12hrs and transferred to paper towel. In a Pyrex container
#1 was first to pop and be transferred into a jiffy pellet at 2:00pm on the 5/6/2020
6/6/2020 - #4 was next to pop and be transferred into a jiffy pellet. Unfortunately I think that is all I'm going to get from 5 seeds which is pretty disappointing as I was really looking forward to this strain.
Both have since been transplanted into solo cups and are getting seedling nutrient formula.
#1 appears to have a CalMag wave so I've been foliar feeding both with Calimagic at 800EC. #4 is growing well but #1 I have been having a bit of trouble with. The second node is developing weird. Hopefully it grows out of it. Pray to the genetic gods that I have a female in one of these two phenos 🤞🤞
Bit of an update on these two girls. I'm kind of neglecting them. Basically I'm keeping them as mothers for the next grow challenge. They've been in 1 gal pots for weeks now I topped them once to the 4th node and have (tonight) trimmed the shoots to an even height. I've been feeding them once a day with a Lucas style formula. (1 part micro 2 parts bloom) at under 1000EC. They're getting shaded by my HBSS so are pretty stretchy. I've taken a cut of both and thrown them in jiffys and straight under 12/12 in an attempt to get an early sex result. So far no signs
#1 pheno was a constant battle with Calcium and or magnesium in early stages. Nice uniform growth.
#4 pheno is less of a battle but is not as uniform as I would like. Nodes lost symmetry at the 3rd node and "she" is kind of lop-sided weird looker.
