Dream queen small tent coco grow
Welcome. Here is my third grow in coco with High Frequency Fertigation.
Tent size 2x4 ft. Lights are 3x120w qb type leds.
Strain is Dream Queen, photo regular seeds. Its one of my favorite strains.
The plants have been vegging for some weeks, they were started in my smaller tent concurrently with flowering my last grow, which is a separate completed journal. That grow was pretty successful and the same technique will be used for this grow, and i hope to improve on some aspects of the results.
Soon i will flip to flower. First, some veg pictures to catch the journal up to the present.
I started 4 seeds, topped them once. Very bushy growth. One plant was male and i chose the largest two females.
March 23. Seedlings. I dropped something on one of them, the broken stem is visible.
april 6. Growth is steady. Not really pushing them until the tent is available. Ready to top. Theres other cuttings in the tent, these four are still in 1# containers.
april 20. Culled the male and the smallest female. Transplanted. Moved to bigger tent
march 6. Continue to veg and fill in
There they are inserted in somewhat random order above but i tried to get them back chronologically. The plants are reaching the 12 inch tall point. I could veg them another week for size but if i flip now they should get 12 inch canopy which is workable. Or they may stretch more. The breeder indicates this strain can stretch, so i will leave room and flip tonight.
Heres some flowers. One plant is more sativa expression, the other more indica looking. There wasnt much difference before flowering, although the sativa leaning was slightly larger it look like it will yield a little less.
Ripening up and developing the trichs. Still dont look ready to flush, but probably this week. Nice sweet fruit aroma and really sticky.
