First attempt growing four of these seeds yielded 2 females, ultimately grown into a bit over half a pound once dried and cured. This will be four more of the same seeds.
This is from approximately Day 13 from sprouting. #5 was first and vigorous. #6 was soon behind. #7 started fine but then tipped itself over. #8 looked good but a bit crooked in how the leaves popped out.
Alright, I've been neglecting this grow journal just as I've been neglecting these seedlings. But they're not seedlings any more, as you can see. These are finally in 1 gallon pots and in their own space. All of them seem healthy and happy now, having largely outgrown their odd seedling stage. BOG 6 is still kind of skinny and has a different leaf than the others, and BOG 7 is finally catching up after all these weeks. BOG 5 and BOG 8 are both chugging away.
Day 44 I guess? These siblings grew in their seedling pots for a month + before I finally transplanted them.
Now, all are looking relatively hearty and vigorous, despite a rough start (especially for #7). Roots are already swarmed to the bottom of the pot. Oh well, they have a while.
Day 51 I believe. 87 degrees in April, had to turn down light a bit to keep heat under control. Otherwise, all is well.
Day 58. One female, three males. Oh well. Will probably repot the female within the week into a 3 Gallon pot.
Excelsior !
Day 65. Repotted the female into a 5 gallon fabric pot.. which I hear is going to be really nasty to get it out for flower. Whoops. Oh well, too late now. Standard mix of FFOF, Gaia Green veg nutes, and perlite.
Don't have the heart to kill the males yet. Any day now though.
Day 79? Covered with preflowers. Resembles her sisters.. Mostly the sativa #2, but she has the purple stems of #1. |The room is starting to smell a bit too.. lemony? Can't tell.
From yesterday. Some leaves have gotten crispy, yellow.. not great. Not terrible either. I think it's a combo of hot temps (86) in the tent and simply running out of nutes. She's being repotted this weekend, given a few days to acclimate, and eased into flower. Probably going to try to trellis her.
Excelsior !
From yesterday. I transplanted her into a 10 Gallon Fabric pot last week. Started cutting the light down that night, to ease her into flower. Tomorrow will be day one of flower I suppose.
I think she's on the mend, digging the new pot. We'll see.
Friday, 6/9/23. Day 14 of flower. Pretty much done bending her at this point. The branches noticeably stiffened up around days 10-12 and I'm tired of breaking them. Otherwise, she seems pretty happy. Didn't quite stretch her out and level her as much as I'd like, but it'll do. I'm over it 🙂
Excelsior !
I posted this on last Friday. Not sure why it didn't go through. Strange Days..
These pics are from Friday 6/16, Day 21. I also fed her bloom nutes on this day. No real aroma to speak of yet. She seems pretty happy.
