as like last grow challenge, I change my ideas like I change my underwear, so finally decided I'm going with my precious... Green Crack
I've already got too much of the nighttime stuff (last grows) and the GC jars are getting low in their numbers... so done deal, photo bagseed grow again...going to start 6, we'll see what luck I get this time around.... round 2 begins 🙂
DWC: this time only 2 plants per tote, I'll start em in 3" netpots (4x2 tent), then plop em in 5" ones after (5x5 tent)
Going in the low totes at first (77L - 8 stones, 2 air pumps 15L/m), then taller ones if needed (107L - 12 stones 3 air pumps)
Megacrop A-B dry nutes, with a bit of voodoo juice at first...also using beneficial bacteria for my high water temps 😉
Lights used now:
lol for the China 480W light I used Canadian dollars, oops, so multiply that price/per uMol by .71 🙂 ($462 USD total cost)
UPDATE: The Mars in the other tent still until i get the Mgro light, so i got a blurple in here to pick up the slack 😉
the single cola will also be done here

so this grow will have the QB's only and may supplement that with blurples if needed...
UPDATE: using my new Migro Array 4 240w won in PTGC in the other tent, so full light setup here (Mars and QBs) 🙂

let the madness begin... early 🙂 Tonight!!! I'll be scuffin seeds, ploppin em in the water for 2hrs, then paper towel/baggie overnight. Hoping they pop by morning... just can't wait any longer....I have a nice long 2 week break so now's the time
A heat mat will be setup in 4x2 using a t5 for the seedlings, The Mars Ts1000w will go in after first serrateds out, up high... so will be 7 green crack photos and 2 OG kush Autos with one of the GC as single cola.
Now, gotta make another hole for my single cola plant, only have 8 holes in my seedling lid top, I can fit 2 more holes in there
For the single cola's main grow, I'm gonna squeeze it into one of the 2 plant tote lids, right smack in the middle, since it'll have no branches in the end, should work out, plus with the lower weight, I can stick with the 3" netpot for it for the whole grow 🙂

my seeds ended up soaking until this morning,
so plopped em in baggies in the cupboard on top of my fridge, conveniently pretty warm in there, germination cupboard now.
Now for tails to appear 😉

we have tails 😀 only 2 GCs didn't pop yet but inserted them all in anyways, feeling lucky, using the rooters regularly too, just a lil piece over the hole. t5 on 24/7. Misted the inside of dome, siting at 28C 80RH

well, another helmet head, dammit, will let the root set itself a lil better before attempting anything, hopefully it'll bust out on its own...it's a GC seed, 2 GCs are popping thru so far, fingers crossed...
Got the govees in there now, this is the tent sensor, have one in the dome too
just misted the whole tray with mister clean solution by mistake, rinsed out the tray, misted with water.... cross your fingers, they'll probly all die....
Well, I might have found a new thing, Mr.Clean (joke), but life finds a way, all but one auto popped out, lookin good so far 🙂
Helmet heads cleaned up, almost each one still had the shell attached, got em off with @mtndan 's tweezer trick, thx bro, worked flawlessly 🙂
My crack babies are doing very well, outgrowing the autos big time 😉
just swapped out the T5 set at 10k lux for the Mars at @20k lux

ps the smallest GC runt will be the single cola 😉
moved to tote, 400ec Megacrop A-B with a bit of beneficial bacteria, PH 5.9, water about 1cm into netpot, one layer clay pellets with RR on top, filled in with pellets

lil update on both grows...
one auto is likely dead 🙁 , but the other has a root sticking out the bottom of the netpot, so hopeful, slow growth but there is progress...
The other 7 crackbabies are doin great, one started leaning over a bit overnight but RH dropped to like 35%, should be ok...
raised EC from 400 to 600EC, PH5.8, lights around 22k lux on the meter (@20-22 inch) i do a bit of top feeding with a syringe when i chk the PH/EC too , water level still @1cm into netpots, 2 are showing a small tap root @ 1 inch...

decided to add a seed for the failed auto OG kush, just plopped it right in the rooter no soak or scuff, thing is tho, I put the one i was gonna use originally in the blue bag here, pretty sure i put that in there cause it was a pink kush bagseed (with OG kush to remind myself, took a while) if so will be a pain cause not an auto, if it is an auto, then I'm good
but if photo i have 2 options, insert a 5 gal pale to the 5x5 or run the auto tent in 12-12 too, auto wouldn't yield as much but would work
I think the 5 gal pale is best option, i can fit it in there and already set for it, that 4x2 is too short anyways, will lean that OG kush down hard
also decided to go full 24-0 lights till flip, will reduce to 20-4 for the auto(s) and 12-12 photos
so i've added a random seed to the list on the other grow and added pink kush on this grow, we'll see what pops up, if auto, journalled there, if photo, journalled here.

decided to cover the netpots, once i saw the pics further below, i noticed a lot of light was getting thru, problem solved.
The OG Kush is back to life, others doin great too, i think their first "night" helped, switched to 20-4 last night, they got 4hrs rest after a long weeks work.

* i changed the lil tab colors... Blue is OG Kush , Pink is now Pink Kush (or auto, we'll see) and green is GC still 🙂
