These are 5 gallon pots.  

And I definitely wouldn't gage anything on the size of my plants(not sure if that's what you were doing) bc I feel like mine are small at 30 days. I see people who have huge plants at this point and mine are always just babies. However by the end they yield good and look good so I might just be tripping. Lol. Im definitely late on these plants tho. I'm just getting them transplanted and haven't even topped yet. Not sure if I will at this point. I think I can get around the same results from lst without the recovery time from topping. I'm still a little wet behind the ears tho so what do I Kno lol

Leaves spread that much on a 5 G pot is great, looks like you are growing very well

depends on the type of plants too, Ruderalis (autos) and Indica look like that, Sativa grows much higher.

As they are photos, you can top as much as you want ... flipping is on your side, its up to you when to do it. Transfer again, just keep it at 18/6 light, you can wait as long as you need to do all your LST or HST you want before flipping to 12/12 flowering.

I Kno I can veg as long as I need but my only other photo grow I got a few clones in lock out that a friend was throwing out and that's what I took on as 1st grow 🤦🏻‍♀️ they all came out of lockout at different points and I was so hell bent on a scrog and even canopy that I kept vegging until they were all the same size. Make a long story short I overgrew my 5x3x6.5 tent and had to put 2 plants outside. The 3 that stayed in the tent yielded almost 16 oz dry trimmed buds but the middle plant got light burn. Anyway between overgrowing my tent, super copping, and having to drag almost 7 ft tall plants inside every night and out every morning was a bit much. Not to mention I was making a 25 gallon trashcan of nutrients a day for the 2 outside and another 5 gallons for the ones inside, This all taught me a big lesson that bigger isn't always better. I'm fact it can b a pain In the ass. Lol. My next grow was 4 lil autos that were done in around 90ish days, and I pulled 13 oz off just those.  Needless to say I'm going to be Very careful this grow and only trying to veg average time as I do not want the same issues as last time.

OK yeah, with a decent scrog (not those elastic ones which are shit but everyone uses), snap them stems down under and let them fix themselves (Very HST), always keep only buds growing from all the colas above the canopy and trim everything below it. You wont have trouble in your tent then for height, just buds growing up all over the place, but you might need to do 2-3 7 gallon pots in your tent size, not more. that was you have loads of smaller buds growing not so high. I have the same problem as you but worse, my tent height is 5 foot by 4' x 2'.

Also collect your cuttings to make some bubble hash to make extra strength in your joints or dab it.

Plus you have loads of room below the canopy where you trimmed off the fan leave to move around inside your tent.

Home made SCGoG's are the best and you get satisfaction of building them yourself with stronger nets.

Hah I know how that goes, my first grow I had to buy a bigger tent THREE times because I flipped too late. It’s easy to forget in veg just how big they will get. They do seem a bit slow growing for 30 days, probably underfeeding them a bit and the yellowing/slower growth is from that. What is your run off? Remember to make sure its always within +300EC  of the inflow. 6.2-6.5 PH is kind of high but for best results you want your ph range to “drift” between 5.7-6.3 according to Dr. Coco. This is because different micronutrients are taken up at different PH levels which all contribute to a better end product. Always better to top at least once so you don’t get apical dominance. As long as you flip early enough it wont overgrow your tent. More tops=more premium bud. Elastic scrogs are meant to stretch so you can pull each string as you tuck branches under it for an even flatter canopy. Otherwise without any stretch you won’t be able to get them under every square and may need to raise/add more netting which increases the vertical height. Check my journal you can see how I trained each branch perfectly flat across the whole space at only 3-4 inches above the coco. I’m height limited too so I’m all about the flat canopy like you are lol happy growing!

Yes I just upd the ppms last feed to 800. The reason I stay above 6.2 is because Im in coco and for some reason I always have purple stems at first even though I buffer the coco first. I Kno with coco and hydro you can go between 5.5-6.5 and at first I was letting it slide that far until I ran into a calicum deficiency. When I started researching it says that pH for optimal calcium uptake is about 6.3ph. I then decided to narrow that window closer to the 6.3 range.. I usually let mine go between 6.2-6.5ph and so far so good. I have actually decided against the net after the one time with it. I enjoy shaping/training them with lst and it broke my heart to do all that work and then super crop, breaking it all down and shove under a net lol. I also like and NEED to be able to pull my plants out and keep them rotated under my light. I have a 1000 watt de hps and it seems to work better being able to turn and rotate the plants under that instead of the way the light would be blaring down hammering light to just the center of the tent. I tried the scrog thing but I don't think it's for me at this time. Maby if I had a more even spread light(looking at you grow challenge drawing lol) then a scrog would make more sense for me but b4 I had buds that were burnt(literally cooked the buds dry in the center of the plant) and buds near the bottom of both sides that weren't ready. I ended up doing a staggered harvest and cut the net all to hell trying to get buds that were ready while leaving ones that weren't. I envy you guys that get an even light spread all the way across. I changed to a 4x4 tent this grow and it's getting a better light spread then my 5x3 so hopefully it makes a difference

Yeah thats one bad thing about a scrog, once its on you can’t move the plant at all. And calmag issues are common with seedlings in coco, however purple stems are nothing to be worried at all, about many people get them, it can be anything from temp drops to genetics and it won’t negatively impact your grow. Dr. Cocos guide explains that early calmag issues are common in coco and best way to treat is with a foliar spray 2x a day. This will get you to maturity at which point the calmag issues should subside. This way you can still get the full range of micronutrients with a ph range and still fix the calmag deficiencies with the foliar spray. 6.3 ph is ok during this but once the deficiency subsides its crucial to drift your ph.  

For example, boron is best absorbed at a ph of 5.8, and this is what boron does for cannabis plants:

“Boron impacts the stability and elongation of new plant growth and is especially essential for reproductive growth. Cannabis has a determinant growth habit, which means once the reproductive phase has been initiated, the plant’s terminal growing tips (the new growth at the top of the plant) will develop floral material. This floral material will not be able to properly develop if B is limited. This will directly impact flower size, quality and yield, which ultimately impacts a grower’s bottom line.”

This is why the Dr. recommends a ph range. If you stay above 6.3 (which is the highest dr recommends at any point) it will never get boron. And that’s just one single micronutrient! If you are using a reservoir, the ph will naturally climb due to oxygen about .1 every day, so you don’t have to manually adjust it, just initially set at 5.8 and let it naturally drift up. If it gets too high then bring back down. Just something to consider.

You seriously probably just helped every future grow I'll ever have. Also didn't even think about foliar feeding. May I ask what strength should I use? Is it still 2.5-5ml calmag per gallon of water for foliar feeding? Dumb question and my guess would be no but I just want to make sure that I don't need to pH the water for foliar feeding? I really do appreciate your advice. Thank you again

Yeah u should probably start with 1/4 to 1/2 of the recommended dose. Do u check your runoff or ppms going in?

I should do, but I am a lazy indoor gardener lately because of personal family problems on my mind at the moment. 🙁

Tbf when I said it was wet for 2 weeks that  was only after a 2 days flushing,soaking and then buffering. I let it dry out in the pot over night and then planted. Looking back that was retarded. As of now I can get by with watering every other day but I know by flower it'll be everyday. My first grow I did high frequency fertigation and used lower ppms and just watered more frequently but by the 2nd grow I got a bit lazier and just started watering every other day with a bit higher ppms..Serious question tho, if my ppms/ec was too high wouldn't I have some burnt tips from nute burn? Its actually opposite and I was having some yellowing on lower leaves and also between veins (at 750ppms) so then I upped the ppms(850) since I was watering less often. They all seem to be green and leaves looking good now, praying up for the most part. In the pic they look a lil off bc I just lst them yesterday, they are still trying to straighten out,fill in. I have pearlite and rice hulls in for drainage. Sorry I wasn't very clear in my comment about them being wet so long. I definitely should have let it dry out more b4 planting but I don't think that's my only issue. Thank you so much for your response and help! I need all I can get seems like lol. I do appreciate it.

They are in 5 gallon pots. I just use the cheap coco hydro crunch or something like that. Its in a brick and I flush it out for a couple of days and then buffer it with calmag. I'm on grow 3 with it and its still good

Sounds good and cheaper, I have some coco blocks stored somewhere but never used as didn't buy the perlite to go with it at the time.
