Grow Review: Zookies by Local Dispensary cut Nature Wellness
Its a cross of GG4 and animal cookies. This strain prefers shaded areas and not direct light. If you'll notice all the lower level buds will be frostier than the tops. This is common with cookie strains. Probably better achieved outdoors. The yield is ok and the aroma is that of burnt rubber and sandalwood. Truly the GG4 coming through. The terps are a little light on this one but overall, good daytime relief. Perfect for working in the grow. I call it growsmoke.
How Much Does Zookies Stretch?
Average stretch for a hybrid. Nothing I can't control around week 2. Pretty easy to grow.
Harvesting Zookies
It's a pretty average plant. Week 3 frost and it fattened up around week 7. I like 10% amber so that was my choice. 67 days nailed it.
Drying, Trimming and Curing Zookies
I do both wet and dry depending on the bud size. These are little buds so lots of trimming, be ready. I have people do it for me so you might need time.
The Flavor and Smell of Zookies
Typical GG4 burnt rubber and sandalwood. I've heard pepper and car exhaust smells as well.
The Effects and Uses of Zookies
Uplifting, energetic, compassionate feeling, clear headed, pain relieving, appetite inducing and overall good day smoke. You can function on this.
My Overall Impressions of Zookies by Local Dispensary cut Nature Wellness
I wouldn't grow it again. I'm not fond of the burnt rubber terps. My other plants blow this Zookies away and the yield is small. Theres plenty if great day smokes that taste good. It's easy to grow however and would be good for a Beginner. I like more of a challenge.
