How Much Does Jack Herer Stretch?
Stretch wasn’t too bad. It say the plants increased in height about 75% so a 12 inch plant would become about a 20 inch plant. Mine were bigger than that but I’m trying to keep the match simple for explanation purposes.
Harvesting Jack Herer
This plant took the longest of my four plants to mature. The other 3 plants were hung and dried and trimmed and in the jar by the time this one came down. I waited and waited to see any amber trichs. Once I saw about 10% amber Trish I chopped it down. Vegetative period was about 5 weeks and flower was about 11 - 12 weeks.
Drying, Trimming and Curing Jack Herer
I dried in a old chest freezer with a temperature and a humidity controller keeping it at 60f at RH of 55%. I’ve since switched to a frost free fridge for this as it was little hard on the freezer. I did some loose wet trimming and light trimming once dry.
The Flavor and Smell of Jack Herer
This is my favorite of what I have grown so far and one of my favorites from the dispensary as well. Lots of lemon peel, fresh cut pine board, some darker spicy notes. Smells like mushrooms, hops, and spiced bread.
The Effects and Uses of Jack Herer
What I love about this strain is that it makes you feel at ease without couchlock. If you’re tired and want to sleep it won’t keep you up. It’s also great for walking around and doing social stuff. Always great to smoke before a concert or a ballgame.
My Overall Impressions of Jack Herer by Seedsman
6 months later and it keeps getting better. It’s my go-to jar every night unless I’m specifically trying to sleep. This is also the introductory strain I’ll share with friends who are new to cannabis. I have three seeds left and I look forward to growing it again.
