Seed was started indoors, placed in distilled water for 15 hours, then in a peat pot filled with seed starter mix. After 3 weeks, I placed it outside in the sun to start "hardening off"", increasing the the time every day for 2 weeks, then planted in my raised bed. (I added my own compost before planting.) The raised bed has a PVC frame covered with a floating row cover to deter insects. I also planted several flowers around it that attract beneficial insects, including Asylum and Marigolds. For the last month of Flower, I added a handful of Ladybugs to control a very small aphid problem. Watering was done with a drip setup, connected to a timer. Fertilizing: I used Fox Farms, and have had great success both indoors and outdoors with this brand. I used half strength the whole grow, as my compost is already nutrient-rich.
How Much Does CBD Critical Mass Stretch?
This stretched about 2 feet. I used LST (using a tomato cage) to bend down the tall branches, which were now exposed to the sun, resulting in MASSSIVE colas!
Harvesting CBD Critical Mass
For harvest, the seed pack said 55 days. I harvested at 72 days because I wanted about 25% amber trichomes. I started my flush 10 days before harvest, using pH'd water only.
Drying, Trimming and Curing CBD Critical Mass
I always wet trim, then hang on coat hangers in my tent, with all fans on (intake, outtake, and 2 inside circulating the air). As my dry tent was not air-conditioned (it is now!), the inside temperature was around 90...so it dried a bit fast, after 4 days. Total harvest was 7 1/2 ounces. Curing: I placed about an ounce each in 32 ounce Mason jars. The humidity, read on the hydrometer, was in the mid-40%. To raise the humidity, I soaked a cotton ball in distilled water & squeezed out the excess water. Then I wrapped it in aluminum foil, punched holes in it and placed one in each jar. After 24 hours, the humidity stabilized in the low 60's, so removed the cotton ball. I burped the jars about 4-5 times/day for 2 weeks, then twice a day for another 6 weeks.
The Flavor and Smell of CBD Critical Mass
The flavor is sweet, and the smell is almost a bubblegum scent. It is not too overpowering.
The Effects and Uses of CBD Critical Mass
As this is 7% CBD/ 7% THC, the effect is relaxing, and helps with minor aches & pains. I find it does not "lull me to sleep", as the seed packet says (I use OG Kush for that!). It's a great after-dinner treat, and when dry-herb vaping, the effects last about an hour.
My Overall Impressions of CBD Critical Mass by Grower's Choice
Highly recommended for relaxing at night. It's 80% Indica, so you will not get a buzz from this, but you will feel great after using this. I also made gummies, and the effects last several hours. This was easy to grow, and you won't be disappointed with this strain.

I’m growing DTW and my last DTW grow gave me 39 oz on 2 plants. I followed Dr coco and made his exact setup. I’m feed high fertigation twice per day and it’s awesome pics coming! I buffer my coco with 150% cal mag in 2 1/2 gallon buckets and at this time clones are are in solo cups rooting. I get 1 gallon pots ready to pot up and with buffered coco in them there’s no issues.2 week’s pot up ant 2 weeks pot up and here is my grow at 5 -6 weeks from clone.
How Much Does CBD Critical Mass Stretch?
I have only grown 5 times and could not believe the sativa dominance in this stretch it was like 25 inches. My colas were so high I thought I could not continue but 4 inches from light they bulked up big time.Believe me I was nervous as I’d never grown this before but,I’m in pain and it took me 2 1/2 yrs to find this strain in a clone not seeds.

I got 39 ozs out of this harvest and it is amazing as to pain relief. I got people from all over Canada wanting this product it’s that good. I do not know why health Canada cannot make this as a basic pain reliever as I have made Balm to gummies and it has changed peoples lives for sure. It tested 19.48% CBD AND .28 THC per gram and was tested through health Canada. I dried 5 days as normal ,some bigger colas 6 days and jarred as per usual. I kept in jars 30-90 days testing and the higher test was at 75 days curing. Now I’m going on my second round but I’m gonna test 7 weeks 7.5 weeks, 8 weeks and 8.5 weeks to see where the CBD IS GREATEST.

I’m very impressed at how I’m at 1/4 of fentanyl patches I was on and now close to none 7 days vs every 2 days. And have not taken Hydromorphone in 2 months. The balm I made is 280 mg jar and has really changed lives and mine to boot. I did this to see if I could get off of big pharma and it’s working BIG TIME.
