Solid easy plant to grow. I've grown this strain multiple times in Coco. The nutrients used each time were GH maxi series. I've grown this strain under 600 watt hps and just recently finished a grow with two Mars hydro ts1000. Each time this strain has produced heavy long colas, support is absolutely necessary. This plant would definitely do well in a scrog as it likes to branch and even the lowers get heavy. Be ready to support the long heavy colas, they tend to lean and supercrop themselves. Even thick branches will have the possibility to snap under the weight.
How Much Does CBD cream and cheese Stretch?
I like to keep an even canopy but this strain loves to stretch despite it's indica dominance. It can easily get away from you with height restrictions and without training. Easy to get a 4 foot plant even with supercropping. Spreading her out wide can help the lower branches catch up. Amazing vigor, this strain can grow up to 2 inches a day in early flower. Stretch typically stopped around the fourth week of flowering.
Harvesting CBD cream and cheese
The flowering time is around 9 weeks but could go longer if you want a bit more THC. This being a 1:1 CBD:THC plant you don't typically want to wait for any amber trichomes, so I've read. My decision to harvest the first time was based on senescence and the very cloudy trichomes, I almost felt I waited to long at 75 days. Testing came back with 9% CBD and 10% THC 19.5% total cannabinoids. So the next time I decided to pull her right at 65 days. Trichomes were mostly cloudy and tests haven't been done but I can say that there is some similarity as far as effects.
Drying, Trimming and Curing CBD cream and cheese
I dry trimmed and wet trimmed. There is plenty of potential for valuable dry sift material and keif or bubble hash. My dry room starts at around 70°f for the first two days, I then reduce the temperature to 65°f maintaining humidity between 58-65%. Dry trim didn't take as long as wet trim obviously and was ready to jar in 7 days. The wet trim took around 12 days before it was appropriate to jar. I would suspect a much longer dry time with a whole plant hang. Maintaining rh in jars was harder the first grow and I had to take buds out and dry them further on a rack. This typically happens fairly often to me but this last grow I definitely found the sweet spot. Rh in jars was 58% I added Integra boost packs at 62% and they brought it back to 62% and maintaining that after a few weeks in jars.
The Flavor and Smell of CBD cream and cheese
Different phenos had different aromas though the flavor was very similar. One pheno turned purple that had the aroma of a creamy cheese a greener pheno had a considerable berry tone on top of the cheesy smell. The flavor is fruity on inhale and earthy on exhale.
The Effects and Uses of CBD cream and cheese
Effects are mild as far as psychoactive but works great with pain almost immediately. It has been successful in treating neuropathy, wasting syndrome, and depression with my patients. I find it helps me sleep well. They state it helps cancer patients but I don't have any.
