Day 72 - [Stretch] Bolt Protocol. Foliar - Night before Day 1, Day 3 1hr before lights on, Day 6 planned. That gets me through the 1 Liter, I may make another batch. I wasn't able to swap my day night temps, so in practice I'm getting 78°F/25.6°C day 80°F/26.7°C night.
VPD: 0.61* Dropping humidity and raising temp to correct VPD to around 0.9 goal, gradually.
Inflow: EC 2.1 pH 5.8

Day 79 - Large defoliation completed, stopped at 3rd foliar treatment, and just finished first reservoir of 321. 2nd Scrog next as well as possibly boosting the back-left plant. Substrate getting quite dry by lights on, expectedly. I'm hoping the bolting period is done, so we can really baby these gals with some vegetative cues. I think there's a few inches to go, still. They've grown about 12"/30.5cm since flip. If I could go back 12 days, I would, and I would run same to slightly higher VPD, light intensity, and EC @ 2.5+ from the jump on flip.
VPD: 0.95 At night, a bit cooler and 50% humidity.
Inflow: EC 2.1 pH 5.8

Day 86 - Raised back-left plant, gave her a briefcase so she can get to work! Lengthened the line to halo. Second scrog in place. Lights raised. In need, once again, of defoliation. Side note, I toss a bit of sodium hypochlorite [pool shock] in the runoff basin and the humidifier bucket, though the humi still needs cleaning once or twice mid run.

Thanks so much for the kind comments. Oh, and the smell... Intense... Cherry Cheesecake, or interpreted another way Cherry Skunk, simply amazing if you even touch the stem, no rub needed.
Days 89-94 - More defoliation - gradually increased fertigation events to acclimate the plants to more of a constant-feed type scenario, and on timers. Beginning one to two hours after lights on depending on dryness of substrate, 5s duration shots every 15 minutes to get wet, then 7s duration shots every hour x8-9 hours. No fertigations overnight.

*Changes for the 2nd res for the week, when veg cue ferts in progress. Dropped MgSO4, increased A, reduced B, bump in overall EC, more runoff. Time to fatten'em up!
Days 101-105
Day 107
Day 114 - I have slowly weaned all of the calcium nitrate out, and added in a bit more CaliMagic. Same fertigation, get wet, then every hour, none overnight. I probably will go back to a standard recipe next run, depending on how this finishes out. The leaves have suffered, but I don't mind it. You can see how the different phenos were affected differently. I plan on maxing out my VPD for the last several days, which will be close to 1.3 or 1.4. I plan on fertigating for 2 hours and dry back for 22 hours, if they can survive. The current overnight dry back is quite good, only superficially dry.

Day 124 - Fungus Among Us. I noticed an area of a picture that was out of focus, so I went back in for more shots, and confirmed I have mold! I cut it out and to my surprise it was very superficial. I took shots of all the other buds as best I could, and couldn't see any more, and honestly buh buh buh barely caught this. I know there's likely more, somewhere. If the mold were deep, caused discoloration to bud or sugar leaf tissue, or were visible in more than one location I may have harvested already. I feel decent enough dropping RH down to 40-45% and finishing this run out to trichome ripeness. This bud was under my oscillating fan, so it was the most stale area in a generally high air flow tent, an area I can improve yet.
In other news 😉 , I have finished vegetative fertigations and am now on my second day of generative. I start pretty quickly after lights on, fertigate for 2 hours every 15 minutes, then dry back 22 hours. Slight runoff at end of 2hr.
VPD: 1.38 fluctuating greatly with this warm weather and having to use AC. The lower your humidity the greater effect temperature has on leaf transpiration.
Inflow: EC 1.7 / pH 5.9 - if we make it to another res, I'll cut CaliMagic and reduce EC to 0.8/pH 6.0. Likewise if we mature faster, I'll add RO to this reservoir to achieve similar, earlier.
~17 Gallons 1/2 Tap(220µs) 1/2 RO
8mL Power Si Bloom
pH up to 5.8 - interesting seeing the higher pH from tap here hardly needed anything to pH up, also best to dilute the PowerSi in RO rather than the combined RO with tap, it visibly mixes better in just RO.
89g A 5-12-26
15mL CaliMagic
0g B 15-0-0
pH up to 6.0
1/4 tsp Yucca
Day 129 - Flush. Using prior res and adding RO to 1.3EC w/ hand watering double dose of SLF-100 yesterday, then today added more RO to 1.0 EC. Fertigate until full slight runoff, then dry back until next day. Keeping RH at a dry 40% pretty steady 24hrs.
At chop, I had to remove the bud that originally had mold as it had proliferated. I removed most of the fan leaves immediately and examined the buds closely for more mold; no additional findings. Today, I am considering segmenting the 4 plants into 8 parts, as I am happy with the current environment control @ 65°F/18.3°C 59-63%RH, for a more thorough mold check and leaf clean-up.
In data review I saw a 70% RH spike for roughly 30 minutes the day prior to catching the first bit of mold. Pair the location of that bud under the oscillating fan with the spike, and we may have a case. In moving forward, I will be growing smaller plants flipped sooner and adding additional air flow as well as a more substantial intake filter.
Update: So far, so good. Left the plants whole; better inspection and no additional findings.
Using the wood moisture meter soft wood setting, I'm measuring 24-25% moisture content, bud readings, quite evenly around the room after about 76 hours since chop. I have been maintaining 61%RH most frequently with intermittent spikes to 64% and dips to 58%. Temperature has been most frequently 65°F/18.3°C with intermittent spikes to 68°F/20°C and dips to 58°F/14.4°C. Tent fan speed 1/10, oscillating fan on the bottom at fan speed 1/10.
With one or two plants, I will be trialing an intermediary step between hanging and jarring to lengthen the dry time. I will be using 30 gallon paper bags for lawn waste and at about 18% moisture content, bud reading, I will cut each stem, quick trim, but not buck buds, put them in paper bags, and seal. I will then observe the humidity inside the bags vs time while inside the tent. The bags themselves are tall, thick, and will be allowed to soak up the humidity of the tent prior to having any buds inside. If the humidity rises to where burping is insufficient to relieve the humidity or is required too frequently, I may place and/or burp the bags in a drier area, rehang for a time, or buck the buds off to eliminate the stem moisture.
The other plants will hang while the bag experiment commences. Big stems are pinging 29-30% with the wood meter, just to note. No additional mold findings.
Day 8 Dry - Sample trim for jar and paper bag testing. The small buds hit 71% in the jar and the larger buds went back into the dry tent. 18-21% on the wood meter depending on bud size. Still some time to go before I contain. This particular pheno, smallest bud development, is skunk/garlic forward, with something that resembles cherry on the back end of the nose. Scissor hash sample was the opposite, very cherry forward, and the garlic/skunk were an afterthought. Initial trichome observation, sandy enough to wash for sure.
Update: Left the small buds open to air in the treated trim area and next morning re-jarred, pinging 61%. Interesting how quick they dried out separated from the stem.
Day 13 Dry - 17-18% on meter. I finished trimming the plants that were on the left side of the tent, very generously adding to the freezer pile. The two plants that were on the right side are still hanging. Trimmed buds are pinging 71+% in the jar, so they're going to paper bags. Now should be a better time to try some full branches in paper bags as well.
